Hey there! I’m Isabella, an ADHD Coach with lived experience of ADHD.

My interest in ADHD Coaching

As a fellow ADHD’er, I am a lifelong learner committed to the journey of self-improvement!

My passion is to help and support people in reaching their fullest potential. As someone who’s experienced the challenges that come with ADHD, I’ve discovered how transformative the right support can be on the path to growth. That’s what inspired me to complete an ADHD Life Coach training program, and become a coach myself.

I value and appreciate diversity!

Growing up, I had the opportunity to live in three different countries, and I’m grateful for how this has influenced the way I see the world and the people around me. Being neurodivergent has also shaped my experiences and has played a big role in my ability to be empathetic toward others.

My top three character strengths are love, perspective, and spirituality. Find out what your top character strengths are at: https://www.viacharacter.org/

My Career

I have post-secondary training in social services, with experience supporting folks with mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and neurodivergence—helping individuals advocate for their needs, access support, and navigate community resources.

I am currently completing the training requirements to become a certified ADHD coach through ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), an internationally recognized, accredited training program.

MY ADHD JOURNEY

I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. At the time, that diagnosis was essential—it allowed me to access accommodations that supported my learning, like extra time on tests, assignment extensions, and quiet spaces for exams. These tools played a critical role in helping me succeed throughout my education.

But as I transitioned into adulthood and moved through post-secondary education, I began to realize something important: simply having a diagnosis wasn’t enough. While I had support in the classroom, I continued to struggle deeply outside of it. In many areas of my life, I felt like I was constantly falling behind or never making real progress. My self-esteem suffered, and I often found myself stuck in a cycle of anxiety, overwhelm, and exhaustion.

Fast forward to the future... While taking the ADHD Life Coaching training program at ADDCA, I learned just how important it is for someone with ADHD to have ongoing support in their life—far beyond the point of diagnosis. I also realized how common it is for support to be provided within academic environments, but rarely in a holistic way that addresses multiple areas of a person’s life. This concerned me deeply, because I know firsthand what it’s like to feel stuck, and unable to fully tap into your potential. This is what led me to work with an ADHD coach myself.

Working with an ADHD life coach has been incredibly useful in helping me understand and learn about my ADHD and how it shows up in my life. This understanding has deepened my self-awareness and given me greater control over managing my ADHD symptoms.
